Terms of Service

These terms apply when you buy or use the AI Remix Photo WordPress plugin from Chai Joy Wood (Joywood 木之家), Taiping, Perak, Malaysia (“we”, “us”). By buying a licence or using the plugin you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the plugin.

1. What you are buying

• A licence to use the AI Remix Photo plugin on the number of WordPress sites stated in your tier (Personal 1, Business 3, Agency 10), for the term stated at checkout — one year, or lifetime.
• The plugin’s source code is distributed under the GPLv2 or later licence, as WordPress requires. Your licence key is what unlocks updates, support and the admin convenience features, and it may be moved between sites within your tier.
• You keep full ownership of your content: your catalogue images, your generated previews, your leads and your visitor data.

2. What we do not sell

We do not sell AI image generation, hosting, or credits. You connect your own AI provider account (fal.ai in this version) and you pay that provider directly at their own rates. We add no per-image markup and no usage fee.

3. Your responsibilities

• Keep your licence key and your AI provider key private, and do not share the plugin beyond the sites your licence covers.
• Do not resell, sublicense or redistribute the plugin as your own product, or remove the copyright notices. (GPLv2+ lets you modify it for your own sites; it does not let you market it as your own.)
• You are responsible for the content you publish and for the personal data your visitors submit. If you switch on lead capture, you are the data controller under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 — you need your own privacy notice, consent wording and retention practice.
• Keep WordPress, PHP and the plugin reasonably up to date, and keep a backup of your site.

4. Third-party services

Image generation is performed by the AI provider you configure, under that provider’s own terms and privacy policy. Their availability, output quality, content rules and pricing are outside our control, and their charges are not refundable by us.

5. Support and updates

• Every licence includes email support for twelve months from purchase (priority support on Agency), plus updates released during the licence term.
• We aim to reply within two business days. Support covers installation, configuration and defects. It does not include custom development, theme work, or fixing unrelated plugins.
• For faster help, include your WordPress version, PHP version, plugin version, the model you use and the exact message your visitor saw.

6. Refunds

Our refund terms are set out in the refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Warranty and liability

The plugin is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that every generated image will be suitable for your use, that a particular AI model will remain available, or that the plugin will be free of every defect. To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability arising from the plugin is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or charges billed to you by your AI provider.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend a licence key if these terms are breached — for example if a key is used beyond the number of licensed sites. You may stop using the plugin at any time; deleting it from your WordPress installation removes its data, so take a backup first if you might return.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over any dispute.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. The version published on this page applies from the date it is posted; material changes will be noted in the plugin changelog.
